Best carburetor?

I'm sure you've all gotten this question plenty, but I'm new to this area. I've owned a V-6 Camaro for a little while now...and I just found a 1968 Buick Riviera for sale, with a big block 430 cid engine. I plan to buy it and upgrade the wazoo out of it, and I'm thinking step 1: carburetor...followed by exhaust, intake, ignition, etc. So, the question is..what would you all recommend? I'm not concerned with money here really..I'm an avid saver. I just want the most powerful carburetor for this engine. I'm not planning on using NOS at all, so there's no need for that capability. And also, what intake manifold is best for the carb? Thanks y'all.

Sweet!!

Hey, congrats on the Riv! That Wildcat motor can really scream! I had a friend in high school that had a 4 door Skylark with that motor in it, it was a beast. We actually put a Holley 3310 (750) on it. It perked it up a bit. Are you going to put a cam in it??
