Carb adjustment screws moving???!

I tuned the idling adjustment screws so my idle is right where it should be.... It will stay the same if I drive the car decent... It seems that whenever I open up the 4 barrels and give her, I hear a sorta rattling noise coming fro the carb, but the screws are turning or something because the car stalls... The idle wont stay up... Than when i adjust them again its perfect until i let her rip again... It keeps doing this... Do the screws sometimes do this? If so how can I stop it? OR do I just need a new carb?!

use some teflon on the screws (liquid not tape) that should help. it's common after q jets get some miles on them, and have the adjustments tweeked. if their too loose the car will suck air in past the screws and bog also.
