Problem w/the auto choke?
Hello,
I'm new to this board,also this is my first time to post.I own a
83 Berlinetta V8 5Spd.I'm the original owner.Here is my problem,
when warming it up rpm around 2000 then it will go up to 2500
RPm and about 5 mins try to tapped the gas pedal but rpm still
high.It takes a while before it goes to 750 rpm.Pls help me on this?

Sounds like you need to adjust the fast idle down a bit. I would set it at no more than 1500. If you think the fast idle stays on too long you can adjust the choke to fix that. Keep in mind that you don't want the fast idle to kick off too quickly--the engine may have problems running. Verify the electric choke has 12V going to it. What carb do you have?
