Ballpark on Q-jet rods and hangers
Hi!
I have a mild 355, running a 268XE Comp cam, Wieand Action Plus manifold, stock 822 heads, about 8.6/1 compression, and an HEI with 40 degrees total advance at 2500.
I run a 750 CFM Q-jet, with "J' hanger and "DV" rods.
The thing falls on it's face (or did) on the secondaries until I tweaked the hanger up slightly with pliars. Now it pulls good.
WHat rod/hanger combo could I try to get me closer. I know it's still lean on the top end. I have the chart from the tech article printed out.
I don't want to have to buy fifty bucks worth of parts (6-8 bucks a shot from Summitt for rods) in experimenting.
Eric
