I'm having a little bit of trouble finding the "DR" secondary rods, so I bought "ck" insted. do you think these will give me about the same results ???

 

No, they won't. You can buy DR rods from Edlebrock, GM (p/n 17053659) or The Carb SHop (909-481-5816).

The reason DRs work so well is that they are very rich on the early part of the taper. That's where most other rods are too lean and cause a "flat spot" when you first nail it. DRs are richer there and give a better throttle reponse when you first get into it, in my expereince.
