intake "Q"

i found a older aluminum edelbrock intake today and was wondering what rpm range it would be good for. it looks to be a dual plane, and where it would say performer or whatever! it shows C3B if i remember correctly. it's sitting on top of a 350 or 305 so i know it's for a SBC. if anybody knows what this one is good for let me know! thanks much

Reading thru an old Car Craft Annual I read a brief on a Edelbrock C-3BX intake that had a Holley 650 dp: "This combo work especially well ona hot steeter with a hydralic cam, moderate gearing and an auto. trans."

It's a pre-runner to the modern day Performer manifold. Idle-5000, roughly.
