Help! striped threds on holley fuel bowl
i have a holley 650 double pumper and noticed that the secondary fuel inlet was leaking a bit. i atempted to tighten the fuel fiting, but insted striped the threads. i dont feel like spending $70 on a new bowl, so i would like to fix the threads, any sugjetions on how, keep in mind i'm prety much broke

Well..the fuel inlet is a 2 piece thing. There is an adapter piece that screws into the bowl, and the fuel fitting screws into that. Are the threads in the bowl actually stripped or the threads in the adapter? If it's just the threads in the adapter thats easy...you can get a new one for a couple bux. if it's the threads in the bowl you can try JB Welding it. So long as you don't move it arond too much it should hold.
its the fittings in the fuel bowl the adapter goes into. i think this is a pretty dumb system. should i just put some JB weld in the bowl and put the fitting in. could you pleas help.
unforntatley stupied has ther own therd pitch, un less holley has a heli coil i can not use a heli coil, thanks for the sugestion though, i think i will try the JB weld
