750 holley question
750 holley question
I put a holley model # 3310 carb with #70 jets on my 350, and off idle(700-750 rpm) it laggs then will pick up with more gas, and from full stop without my foot on the gas it dies, what will make it do this. thanks,
chris

Could you please give a little more info please? Do you mean it dies from off idle stops or dies when you stop? Auto or manual tranny? Is the exhaust black/smell like gas?

Sounds like a lean bog. Try changing the pump cam to give it a bigger shot of fuel or change the squiter. You probably have a #25. Go to a #31 and see if the bog goes away.
As for dieing at a full stop it could be a bunch of things. Most likely the idle speed and mixture is too low. It could also be an incorrectly adjust float level.
