Q-jet Rebuild Tips
I changed the TPS on my 200,000 mile never serviced Qjet and tore the airhorn gasket.
Auto part stores are telling me that I can not buy just the gasket and have to get a rebuild kit.
The thing probably needs rebuilding anyway, it bogs everytime at WOT.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!

Try NAPA online or AuzoZone Online, one of them sells just the gasket set. I came across it looking for the rebuild kit for my q-jet. Good luck.
As for the bog, you might need to adjust your AV screw, or the AV flaps are caught, or some other mechanical problem. If stuffs not cool after the rebuild, lots of people on here can help you with a WOT bog.

How many miles? WOW! OK, so I got a gasket rebuild kit for like $15 at Autozone once. It is relatively easy to rebuild one of these things, but don't be afraid to pull it back off and open it up when you realize that you messed things up the first time you have ever opened one up. I've had mine apart a few times and manage to miss something every once in a while... no biggie.
AV screw on the secondaries should be adjusted correctly to get rid of many "bogs"/ With the engine off, d the secondary flaps open freely? Do they close on their own, or stay open? They should close by themselves. There are two screws on the passanger side that adjust that.
