CAn you still get a new carb from gm?
If so should I get a lg4 replacment or a l69 replacment? My car was a lg4 now it is a 350.
And what do they run and are they complete. I was going to go aftermarket , And I got a carb from jet and it made the car run like ****, so I sent it back for a refund, and then 2 monthes later, I called because I had not gotten a refund, they said that the base plate was cracked, some rod was bent and the airhorn was cracked, now they said the base plate was 75 bucks but a feww months ago it was only 30 bucks, So I think that they are a bunch of lying *******s over there.

There are no new computer controlled carbs being produced or stocked. There is probably a "lost" carb out there is someone's stockroom, but you aren't going to know that since it's "lost".
There isn't any difference between the LG4 and L69 that can't easily be tuned (secondary rods & hanger) or modified (see tech article about AV adjustments). When looking for a replacement, either should be satisfactory.
The damage to your rebuilt carb sounds like rebuild damage, or a combination of rebuild and installation. The cracked airhorn could be from overtorquing the mounting bolts. Bent rod, depending upon which one, could be rebuild or handling. Cracked base - not sure about that one. Sounds like they owe you a better explaination, and either a refund or another carb.

Most common thing keeping you out of closed loop would be a bad/maladjusted TPS. There are always tune-up issues too, if your ignition stuff isn't fresh don't start working on anything. Same with your timing. Vacuum leaks can also make CCCS run rich, as they compromise the MCS's ability to get teh mixture right in closed loop, making it tend to stay rich.

The last time I checked on a new electronic Q-Jet was 5 years ago. The dealer said a new Q-Jet was $1003! I rebuilt the damn thing myself and ended up with a great running car for the price of a rebuild kit! PLUS, all of those tamper-plugs are gone and I can adjust the idle-mixture, air bleed, and TPS.
