fuel filter
fuel filter
okay, this is a lame question, But on the rochester Built in fuel filter, wich way does it go ? I replaced mine and wasnt paying attention When I pulled the old one out, Now the car is starting to Sputter so Im pretty Sure its in backasswards, but its really Cold outside and I dont want to Go work up to my elbows in freezing gasoline atm.
Does the hole in the filter face the carb, or the Supply Line ? I think I put the hole towards the carb, But Not sure

The hole in the filter faces the supply line. The spring goes into the carb first, then filter.
The idea is that the stuff that is filtered out will stay in the filter when you replace it.
