hanger ?'s

Newbie question: How does the hanger height affect the carb? And which hanger would go with CK rods?
Thanks,
Adam

The different types of hangers, lower or raise the depth of the rods when they go in the secondary jets. I believe a higher letter hanger raises the rods more and a lower letter lowers the rods in more. Raising the rods gives u more fuel and vice-versa.

Close, Blade. A lower letter = higher out of the jets; e.g., a "B" hanger would hold the rods higher than an "R" hanger. So, the lower letter gives you more fuel with less AV opening.

Oh, the rest of your question. No particular hanger "goes" with any particular rod. You tune the secondaries by selecting rods and a hanger that work right for your setup. In other words, it's a trial-and-error tuning process.
