I had a vacuum problem with my qjet.
Discovered it by measuring vacuum on the intake, EGR blocked off and all hoses on qjet blocked off as well, and had no or little vacuum. (during starting the engine) Than did the test again without the carb, and blocked off the intake carb holes with a large flat piece of metal. Now I had lots of vacuum. So I replaced my qjet with an old one yesterday, and now the car runs fine.

symptomes were :
hard starting when cold
code 34 (mAP sensor lo vac from ECM)
smoke on initial startup on 6 or 7 cilinders
no power
