4 bbl opening?

Engine: 383 SuperRam
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
4 bbl opening?
on the side of the 4 brrl card is a copper like "thing" that has linkages that open the 4bbls, if I udjust the screw/spring on there will it open sooner/later?

Work to be done in July: New Engine (383 or bigger) New worked 700R4, power Sunroof, Trans Am Body Kit, Ram Air II hood, Rims, Tires, 1.5" lowering springs, and re-done interior...I want yellow and black but the 4th gen conversions look tempting, oh yeah painting it Yellow also
