How bout the "Camaro Conversion Kit" in a M5?

The kit is designed for a 82-87 LG4 with auto but what about swapping it in a car with a T-5. What all would I need to do to the T-5 to handle the power, or what else needs to be done in order for the car to run with the new motor correctly. The said one for the manual is said to be in the works but who knows how long that could take or if it would happen. A lot of you guys have LG4's w/T-5's and this kit sounds sweet.

It should go in with minimal changes. I'm sure SOMETHING is going to need to be modified but it's still a Small Block Chevy at it's heart. Just make sure the flywheel will work with the later style one-piece rear main. I know there are differences with flexplates between the two styles so I bet flywheels have differences, too. That's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh yeah- make sure the block is drilled and taped near the oil filter for the clutch stuff that usually attaches there. I don't know when Chevy went to hydraulic clutches or if this will even be a problem at all with your swap but you might want to research it a little.
