The choke, l think
The choke, l think
Here is the situation. 350 w/ automatic and an Edelbrock 1406 electric choke carb.
For the first 15 min after cranking, the car doesnt want to settle down. The tach is all over the gauge, and when l try to drive it, l have to shift it into neutral when l come to a stop, or else it will stall.
After ~15min the tach is rock steady, and the car will idle just fine at ~550RPM in gear ~900RPM in neutral.
So lm thinking somethings up w/ the chock. However, lm still new at this carb thing, especially the choke, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Trial and error method to get that choke just right. 'sounds' like it's too tight. Loosen the choke up a bit and try it.
