I was just wondering if I can get close to the same gas mileage with a holley as I can with a quadrajet with a 350?
Thanks

MY 650 Holley was getting 12-13, probably closer to 14 with, 3.08 rearend gears and a TH350. I would GUESS a car with a 700 would get 14-16. I was running a holley 6210, Its a direct holley replacement for the q-jet. Also the primary jets were 60's. I would guess this helped mileage too.

I was getting about 25mpg with my q-jet... now that I finally have a working tach, I will be able to tell you how much I lost with the Holley 750vac.

Well i never recorded how many mpg i got with my Quadrajet but the previous owner told me 12 around town.
I would fill it up every 5 days or so.
4 days if i floored it alot
With my new Holley I floor it almost everytime i drive and don't have to fill up for a week and a half (10 days)

Not very scientific or numerical, but a big difference

depends on what your getting currently?
I was getting 14 with a qjet. and with a holley 600 i got about 18. granted the qjet was triked out. you probably get better than 14 with your qjet. you have to remember that a qjet only flows 300 cfm when in primaries and 740 wo. a holley flows more air than a qjet because it dosent have the flappers to keep it closed.

Properly tuned and driven the same you can get about the same. Usually a holley is set-up to run on the rich side, so mileage suffers.
