new 750 edel.
hey guys i got as new 750 edelbrock carb(1407) with mech. choke. is this a good carb? also can i switch it to an electric choke? thanks
Right on. That's a pretty damn good carb. I have the exact same model. I might down-size the jets in mine a little bit though depending on what i use it on. It was giving my 327 a little bit too much gas.

Great choose man. On making that an electric choke i believe summit or Jegs sells an electric choke converter. I have an electric choke on mine and love it the only thing is it idles the car a little high on cold morning first starts.

i have one, its always had a off idle stumble to it no matter how i tune it. its going to get rebuilt before it goes on my new engine. i know a few people that run the 1405 which is the 600cfm and they really like it.
