Clean-titled roller shell? Chicago/OHare, IL
Hey, I'm hoping to finally start my 3G F-Body project soon (need to sell a couple toys from my sig first), but I need to start it on the uber-cheap for now
So I figure I'll start with a shell and go from there.
With that, does anybody have, or know where I can find, a clean-titled shell (FB or Cam, but FB preferred) in the Chicago/O'Hare area? Even if it's not available till spring/summer, that's fine. It'd be best for me if there was an axle and wheels/tires (back, at least) on it so I can use a dolly instead of a full trailer. Like I mentioned, I need to sell a couple of the other toys first, so I'm just lookin' for the time being
Also, my truck gets crap MPG's, so I'd like to stay with-in, say 100 driving/street miles of O'Hare. Thanks
BTW, T's would be awesome, but I could manage with a hard top if need-be

Forgot to mention it in this thread - right now I'm lookin in the couple-to-few hundred dollar range. I know not to expect much
Once my bike sells, I'll be able to afford a more expensive, good-condition roller. Thread Starter

Well that is my kinda price
But bringin' it home from Houston would be a PITA. I had a deal for an 84 TA roller, but it fell thru mainly b/c the trans in my truck got smoked on my way home from the guys house
So now I've got nothin' to tow with...
I think I'm gonna wait awhile. Finish up some stuff on my Cavalier, and sell off the truck & bike, than I'll start lookin' for a 3G again.
Thanks to those that gave offers, I'll come back to this thread once I start lookin' again.
