WTB: 1LE, IROC, 91-92 Formula, or 91-92 Z28

I recently sold my fully restored 69 Camaro SS and am planning to get back into the 3rd gen game. I am looking for rarer stuff or cars that are in close to stock unmolested condition. I prefer low mileage cars and by that I'm talking 50k miles or less, but if you're car is nice and fits the the criteria below then contact me. I will also consider one of the cars below with higher miles and or needing some work (mainly pertains to 5spd hardtop cars). However if you're car has rust don't waste your time. Here's exactly what I'm looking for:

87-89 IROC
- Must be a hardtop (NO T-TOPS)
- Either a 5spd 305 TPI car or a 350 TPI auto
- Only colors black, red, or factory yellow.

91-92 Z28
- Must be a hardtop or convertible
- black or red and any 25th anniv Z03 cars except white
- 305 5spd or 350/auto

91-92 B4C or 88-92 1LE will consider in any condition

91-92 Formula
- hardtop only
- red only
- 305 5spd or 350 auto

I am in St. Louis and for the right car would be willing to travel but please don't waste my time emailing me cars that I did not list above or cars that are junk unless you realize that junk cars = cheap cheap prices. Not trying to be rude, just trying to save everyone time. I know what I want, what these cars are worth, and how much $$$ it takes to fix/restore them. Thanks I can be reached at Firehawk237@yahoo.com Thank you.

My car may not meet all your criteria. It is a 1989 Formula 350 hard top with 5600 miles (unmolested condition). Will the low miles interest you in a older model?

What color and what do you need for it?

I am looking to sell my 1992 Z28 w/original L98 TPI 350. The car is red and does not have the anniversary stripes but I did put the anniversary badge on the back. The vehicle has 98k miles. The car is in beautiful shape. I am quite picky and I would give this car a rating of 92/100. The hood has a few stone chips as well as stone chips behind the rear tires. The interior is perfect. The interior is all original except I (correctly) installed a 3rd gen Camaro console clock that works great. Under the hood look new. If you follow red 90-92 camaros w/the red wheels, you will notice that they all turn into a pink , I had new factory correct red Z28 rims put on w/a 2 year warrenty along w/brand new dealership center caps ( over $1000 for the sha-bang). The only thing that does not look factory on the exterior is that I installed a 80 series Flowmaster muffler w/ brand new chrome tip from a Chevelle SS (68-72). I was just wondering what you would be willing to pay for a car of this discription.

*warranty. I had the rims done by Transwheel Corp. This is who a Chevy dealership will go to if the need a factory replacement wheel.

Walker, sorry I just saw your reply to my post. Your car sounds very nice, distance might be a problem but if the price is right, that might over come that. What are you looking to get out of it? Thanks.

p.s. any pics of the car? How many owners? Ever been wrecked, hailed on, any rust anywhere? Thanks.

Dave

89 Irocz

I know you said you wanted an 89 hardtop, but I've got an 89 IROCZ 305tpi, 5spd, convertible. 78,xxx miles on it.The car is triple black. I am located just outside of chicago. The car is all original except for the motor. I bougth it with a blown 305. I've got a period correct (89-90) Corvette spec L98 being put together for it right now. It has the correct 113 dport heads, the Corvette valve covers, the correct Corvette lower intake plenum, and Corvette tubular exhaust manifolds. This car came from California 5 years ago, and has sat in the garage ever since. As far as I know hasnt seen rain or snow since its been in the midwest. Its the cleanest 3rd gen I have seen. I do restorations for a living. When it comes to my own stuff, Im lazy. I do not want to do any rust repair of any sort. The car has been painted at one point, its not bad, but its not what I would do. I did plan on respraying it. It could use a rear window, the top is good though, and the driver seat has a small rip starting. Other than that its a virgin, un molested. It was originally a single convertor car, I've acquired a dual convertor setup. I would be willing to sell it running or as a roller. I have the original t5, and everything related. The A/C compressor is still hooked up and holds freon if that tells you anything. I've also got a 3.42 drum brake rear for it, and I will be getting the aluminum drums shortly. Someone must have swiped them in years past. Really all this car would need is a nice paint job and some minor detail work. The doors do not sag, the close nice. The car is still grey on the underside, the only thing that shows any rust on the undercarriage is the rear end. If you think you might have an interest in this car you can PM me or call me 847 875 7472. You can see a quick picture of it at http://www.opherautowurx.com/portfol...cat/539/page/1

I can get you more pics if you're interested.
