I'm looking for a running thirdgen, any year with either 8 cylinder engine. I don't care about the transmission, or really the shape of the engine. I need the car to make it from wherever it is to Milwaukee, WI under its own power. As for the body and interior, I don't care too much about them as I plan to redo them anyway. This will be a project for me during school, so I'm pretty flexible.

Holes in the body are a huge negative for me, and will significantly reduce what I'm going to pay.
Manual transmission is a huge plus for me and will also have an effect on the price that I am willing to pay.

T-tops are really the biggest thing for me, I loved them on my first Camaro, and would like a car with t-tops again

I am looking to pick up your mild project on this and price is going to be a huge factor in this.

Fireball, that car looks exactly like my first one...unfortunately it seems to be in better condition than I'm looking for. I'm looking more for a sub $1500 dollar car.

Finding this car may be more difficult than I originally thought

'85 305 HO 4bbl engine, converted to spd manual t-5, t-tops, power buldge hood, chrome engine assoc., Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Hyd 327-350 hp cam, 3.23 open rear, headers, 3" exhaust from collectors back, have new headliner on order and a replacement right-side front fender. Was thinking about removing the serpentine setup in place of the v-belt setup. I would have to replace the PS, Alt, water pump and maybe a pulley or two. I already have all the parts necessary to do this, just not sure if I want yet. $2000 o.b.o.
