anyone have any knowledge of this guy? He's selling some 91-92 aero spoilers for a good deal. Sounds a little fishy to me, but if he's on the up and up it would be a great deal!

Hello all! In my own defense, I am new to this site because I have been more into the 2nd generations, but since I recently added 2 3rd generation T/A's to the family I have developed a new interest. The deal that I have offered does sound too good to be true, but I just ran across some of these "very" sought after spoilers and have a substancial investment in them and am trying to pass a good deal on to the rest of you. I could raise the price to make this look a little more legitimate, but then I would not sell them as quickly and you would not get this great deal either .I did run into some snaggs with shipping but think that I am just about past that and will have a definate answer very soon. I have been swamped with responses on these and do work a full-time job as well so I may not appear to be the most organized person when it comes to response time.
I can assure anyone reading this posting that if we make a mutual agreement for you to purchase one of my spoilers you will receive one for 100.00 plus shipping. Thank You and I hope that I can earn your trust. Troy Polley

Troy IS NOT a scam artist. I just bought one of his spoilers and I've seen others he has. He's just getting the run a round with
the post office. I live down the road from his dad so I didn't have to deal with shipping. He has a bunch of these spoilers and he's offering them for a great price he just needs to make some of his money back he paid for them and when you tack on a high shipping price they get more expensive so he has a harder time selling them. $100 is a good deal but when you tack on a extra75-100 for shipping that $100 good deal becomes a $200 not such a good deal. Anyway thumbs up to Troy.

Just to clarify, I went down to the indy swap meet meet this past weekend (10-26-03) to look at the spoliers Troy was selling and talk to him a bit. This is a very good deal, even with shipping. The Spoilers that I had seen had never been installed on a car. These are the actual 91-92 stock GM spoilers, not the hand laid fiberglass ones that are being made now as aftermarket replacements. Some are in better shape then others, but can anyone honestly say they will be in perfect condition after sitting for over 10 years? Some surface scratches but in overall excellent condition. Most of them you could buy and put on wihtout painting, just clean them up a bit and put on some wax. Even with shipping $150-$200 max is a good deal, or if you are local to Indiana you can get a hold of him and just go pic one up. Thumbs up to Troy for passing on a good deal for spoilers to the rest of the thirdgen community, when he could be asking more for them. Like the other guy said, he is trying to get back what he has invested in them. Beside that, I was happy with the condition of the spoilers and bought one to put on my 87 GTA to replace the factory rubber one used.
I want to Thank Bill and Dan for posting feedback and buying my spoilers, They both have very nice cars and I am glad that I was able to supply them both with the spoilers for their cars, while I was at the swap meet a dealer bought a few of my spoilers and wants to buy more, so this confirms that it really is a good deal! I would rather sell them to people that are going to use them than resell them. Thanks, Troy

Troy, Glad to hear Indy was a success for ya.I didn't make it up there this time,My wife's to do list didn't allow for it.I'll be at the swap meet in November. Don't forget me the next time you have a good deal on any third gen parts. lol. Thanks Bill
Thanks Bill, I would not call it a complete success since I still have some spoilers left to sell (hint hint
) I also want to add that I will be setting up a booth @ the Indianapolis Indiana swap meet on Sunday November 30th. I should be at the same booth as last time booth# L10. Thanks all!
