I know that a few people have posted giving this guy very good reviews. I also had very good experiences with him the first two times that I made purchases from him. However, the third and most expensive purchase that I made from him turned into a disaster. He royally screwed me over. I am not going to go into a bunch of details because it doesn't affect the outcome. I usually wouldn't even devote enough of my time to complain about someone who has wronged me. But, I felt like I owed it to my comrades on these boards to warn them about a potential danger. I cordially dealt with this guy for many weeks trying to resolve the issue I was having with what he sold me. However, in the end he did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem. Even though it was his fault, I was perfectly willing to work everything out for us both to be happy. He would have no part of it. He even accused me of trying to wrong him. Luckily the credit card I used through Paypal protects its members against misrepresented internet purchases. I presented them with the evidence and sent them what I purchased. After investigating the situation, they removed the charge from my account. This should be proof enough that I am being truthful. My only regret is that he will still benefit from the money he collected from me.

I fully expect for 'Dave' himself or someone associated with him to come onto this thread and severely flame me. I, frankly, do not care. I will not respond again to this thread and I am unsubscribing from it. It is beneath me to engage in a pissing contest.

I have said what needed to be said. I have given everyone fair warning. Take it for what you desire. My conscience is now clear.

Now, then. I'd like to hear Dave's side of this before forming a complete opinion, but I find it difficult to believe that Dave would intentionally give anybody a raw deal; I've spent nearly $1,000 on his parts and have yet to be "screwed".

Based on what little information you've posted and that I've read of no other complaints on this board, I'm inclined to believe that Dave is not at fault (at least not completely). Assuming that you actually have unsubscribed from your own thread for fear of being flamed doesn't lend much support to your explanation, either; you also don't want to give details or any further response, which isn't helping. That you may have had your credit card charge removed says nothing more than that in the context of your post - it doesn't prove anything.

What you've done, in essence, is post a vague negative feedback that accomplishes very little - you've "warned" your comrades about nothing since everyone knows that there's an inherent "potential danger" in most everything. Would you advocate not crossing the street to get your mail because of the potential danger of being run over?

I believe I need to say something here, and I'm not going to get into all the details as this is between Scott Hughes and me and this is not the proper forum in which to resolve this situation.

There are two sides to every story.....

Scott Hughes failed to meet the requirements for the return of a set of Trans-Am tail lights he purchased from me.

My reputation speaks for itself, I have done business with several members who frequent this board and I appreicate all their business and input posted here!

This individual just needed to blow off some steam and now that he's done that he can go somewhere else and purchase his parts from now on.
