zerokill78 a great guy

I just purchased a '92 Formula from Fred, aka zerokill78. I can honestly say that he is a great guy to deal with. For me, a deal is made or broken based on the other party's personality and attitude. When I went down to look at the car, Fred spent almost two hours out of his day talking to me, about the car I was looking at, and cars in general. He jacked up the Formula so I could see the underside, he pointed out the flaws that he was aware of, and he patiently entertained all of my questions. I did not like the wheels on the car, so I asked him if he would replace them with a differernt set of Formula wheels. Not only did he comply, but he gave me a set he had had refinished and that are in beautiful condition and with a really good set of tires. He replaced the shifter handle and a few cracked interior pieces in the rear cargo area, without my even asking. He washed the car and cleaned and detailed the tires, without my asking, and he agreed to trailer the car up to me for a nominal fee. He also parts out a lot of these cars, and I am without question going to go to him for parts first, whenever I need any. I would highly recommend him to any of you looking for cars or parts. He seems to be a genuinely nice, hard working guy out to make an honest dollar while working in the hobby.

Thanks for your time.

Lawrence, with all due respect, get out of my thread. This is my thread, that I started, to profess my views of Fred gleaned as a result of my recent, face-to-face, and entirely positive transaction with him. If you have a beef of your own, take it elsewhere. Start your own thread if you want, but don't hijack mine. Your characterization of Fred is entirely incongruent with mine, which again is based on a recent, face-to-face transaction for an entire vehicle, and during which Fred was more than helpful, friendly, professional, and reasonable.

You are most welcome,
Can you by chance post a picture of your rare find? I would really like to see it.

Click on the link to my photobucket.com album in my signature. Go to the last page of the album, and you will see the one pic I had time to take last evening. '92 Formula 350. There were 1,052 Formulas made in '92, and of course not all of them had the 350.

Agree 100%. Fred is a great guy and I would highly recommend buying from him, especially if you're in the area. I purchased some parts from him over a month ago that I couldn't find anywhere else for a great price. Thanks again Fred, Daren
