thanx 4 the info... he sent me an email saying he had parts but idk if i wanna deal with him based on the info i have read. He gave me his number and told me to call him... scared to though because if he's the type of crook everyone is saying he is im not goin to waste my time

Any time you buy parts that are 17-27 years old you are taking a chance.
I bought a hatch motor from him in Nov. Just today installed it. He cut the harness from the car and not the motor, thank you. I needed the harness intact because it was not exactly the same. Used parts from mine and it Works.. AS ADVERTISED!

I don't know this guy & I won't get involved in any character basshing, but I will tell all of you this...

I have FOUR 3rd gens. Two I'm fixing, two that are wrecked... AND I have two I'm looking at.

I will think long and hard before I offer any parts.

There is a big differece between parts condition when recieved and not recieving anything at all. That's my problem. I sent him some money for some carpet and never got anything in return.

 

He just sent me a pm on a set of interior plastics, I am glad I found this thread cause I'm not in the mood for a headache.

Now I want to make this very clear, I don't know this guy, I have never purchased anything from him and am not saying that any transaction would have gone bad, but I have been in communication with him for a set of interior plastics.

I am new to thirdgen and never bought anything from a site like this. I emailed a mod and asked the best way to prevent getting ripped off and he directed me to the feedback threads and stated of course, no guarantees (thanks to the mod that replied).

Now after reading all the feedback about forward540 I felt uncomfortable doing business with him (he wanted me to wire or send MO first).

Now if I was a reputable seller (and a stand up guy) I would at least try and save face, instead I recieve the pm quoted above saying he is glad that he is not selling me the parts.

Gut feeling tells me that he is not as glad as I am!

The guy is a joke.....Ive seen him a few times at junkyards in the area.He sees me looking at the camaros and firebirds,starts talking to me and then tells me he has lots of parts available for sale.Ive seen the crap he sells.Its mostly garbage.He also posts alot on philadelphia craigslist.If you see a birdsboro pa location I would stay away.
