Well today I did my research and tracked him down and contacted his local police department. I found him selling on another site now that most know what kind of seller he really is now on this site. His name is Mike Robaey and his girlfriends name is Kim or Kimmy. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER!!!!

 

Some more in info on forward540 (Mike Robaey) and his girlfriend Kim or Kimmey (he will probably start using her name)they live NE of Philly,PA. in the Norristown,PA., Phoenixville, PA. and Spring city, PA. area. His area code will be 610. Some of his email addy's are: forward540@aol.com, fastforward540@aol.com and unclefrank540@aol.com. He will probably change his email addy and go by a new screen name with all the heat I'm bringing on them. It seems to me that since this girlfriend(Kim or Kimmy) came into his life, most of his selling problems started. He will not post on here anymore, he will PM or email members who post under " parts wanted section". If you have or had an issue with them PM or email me and I will give you all the info I have and which police dept. to call.

If he was/is stupid enough to publish his phone number and then stole my money,he would get ONE good phone call then i would forward ALL info to the police.These punks are becoming more and more common.ALWAYS pay with a postal money order.

 

Found all the phone #'s he gave me and #'s he's posted and all are no good anymore. Latest as of 5/17/07. I contacted his local police and they gave him a call, he now is going to send all the parts. I faxed a list of parts owed to me to the cops and he will supply a tracking # for the package when shipped by Monday 5/21/07. I did send him a postal money order and kept the stub. I also kept all emails when I buy anything from site like this. We will see if he does what he told the cops he would do. I will keep everyone update on Mike's progress. This seems to be the only way to make Mike do the right thing is getting the law involved!!!!

 

Thanks for posting this, although most people don't read this thread the few that do will know. He is on here daily doing business silently and probably screwing new members who don't know any better. Let's start a thread ro BAN HIS AZZ and his ISP

I couldn't find it anywhere, really, and he emailed me and gave me a price. It took a bit to get it worked out on how to send it but he sent it COD and I paid by check. He gave me the part I needed and I gave him the price he asked for. I would buy from him again if I need to, just because he did give me a square deal. Honestly. Sometimes we have a bit of trouble with a situation, but that's no reason to completely condemn a person. I hope you all are able to work this out like real men do. That's all I have to say. i know what you mean, i once had to get rid of a car i loved because i found out the air in the tires was 3 years old.

 

Mike says parts were shipped, weeks later no parts, finds parts not shipped by girlfriend, says will ship and weeks later no parts. I ask for refund, weeks later says check is in the mail, weeks later no check, stops answering e-mails and ignoring AOL IMs (while he is online) blocks me on the screen name he knows of mine so I can't see him online or IM him, see him online every day while I'm signed in under a screen name he doesn't know. Countless PMs thru this website and he's logged in on here everyday and still no replies. Cops get involved and now he's doing the right thing!!!! Like I said before, it seems to me that most of his problems started when this woman came into his life.

 

The lastest on the Mike Robaey con. Got a phone call from his local police stating he shipped SOME of the items and he gave me a tracking #. I faxed a list of parts Mike and I agreed on and now Mike is disputing some of the parts. The cop will be calling me today and telling me which parts exactly Mike is disputing. On the list I wrote out for the cop I stated clearly that if Mike disputed and of these parts he should just refund my $220. I'm alittle disappointed in the officer not make Mike send everything or just telling Mike to refund my $220 like he said he would over 3 weeks ago in a email.

You know I am a 44 year old a$$hole. I would give the officer a couple of days. Then I would call his superior. A couple of days later I would call the mayor. Sound extreme, well they are on my street right now with rADAR. By the way I was banned for a week for talking about the new Camaros, yet you can screw people on this site and get welcomed back. Something is wrong here. Proably get banned for that remark

 

I got some of the parts Mike and I agreed on. NOT near the condition he said they were in. I used to talk to Mike damn near ever week on the phone and thought we were friends, was I wrong!!!!. He told me that his aunt died around X-mas last year and he and his girlfriend were living there and he inherited the farm were his 50 some f-bodies are. He was sued by his former landlord before he moved to the farm. When tracking him down I found out that he has been living in a motel for months. Mike is a true liar and can't keeps all this lies straight!! He will probably be change his screen names but , remember the area he lives in and his name and his girlfriends name Kim or Kimmy. He will probably use her maiden or x-husbands last name. Do not buy from them EVER!!!!

I'm supprised it has gone on this long. When I had problems on this site with a member and reported it to the FBI Internet Fraud Div. the police got involved and after a couple weeks I got a refund. This was after months of emails and promises and then response to the emails. Only a $50.00 deal but I got the money back. They gave the police a story about moving and etc, etc, but the police followed up until I got my money back. So good luck.

I can respect the fact that people are taking a risk by buying ANYTHING from the web; but when the offenses are so obvious and the perpetrator is allowed to continue to use this venue for fraud - it seems like he's being given a free pass to continuously prey on this boards members.

All those who have burned play a part here too - Why have NONE of you placed negative feedback for this guy using ITrader ??



An unsuspecting ( nieve ) person might only look to that feedback to gauge this guys credability. Will ITRADER not accept your negative feedback ? I feel confident that if negative feedback was left than a member with no knowlege of his history would not have bought parts from him just a couple weeks ago. His ONLY ITrader feedback is POSITIVE !!

I've watched this ongoing saga for MONTHS and can't understand what the reasoning is for allowing him/her to continue to use this site. I've witnessed people banned for minor infractions - this guy is/was ripping people off !! The Postal inspectors and the Police have been forced to get involved here, What more do you need in order to ban this guy ?? Moderators - use the powers granted to you and quit allowing your members get burned.

 

My friend, you have stated this issue in total CLARITY for those of us who can correspond. If the MODS will not retort in a responsible manner, then we as a whole are subject to his pilfering and are apt to suffer if we contract with him

I bought from him back in Oct. and had no problems with him. I just spent $10 bucks on some mounting bolts for the overhead console and they were well packaged (bubble wrap package so they wouldn't break out) and shipped quickly.

Hello, I've just bought from him on an auction site. It's a cheat: I confirm it!
If he will give me a negative feedback, I will go to the police immediately.

 

I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR MESSAGE IS SUPPOSE to say but he is a cheat. i bought some carpet from him, after he gave me some sad story about people not paying him and he having bills to pay, and all i got was a reciept from my money order.lol.. anyways dont trust him..

 

I purchased a rear GFX part from him, a molding for a power seat and a shift ball. It was all junk. The GFX was smashed in one corner, absolutely worthless. The seat trim was cracked and unrepairable and the shift ball was also cracked with pieces glued on. I couldn't believe it. One of the parts he was selling was on EBAY. I gave him negative feed back. Soon after he quit as a seller.

 

He has just released a negative feedback for me, I've mailed to ebay about his behavior.

Well just to let you all know, i got the dispute about my rim resolved with Foward and as he promised i got my rim within 5 days of payment. Rim was in overall good condition, cept it was spray painted black in the middle. Definletly not worth the 205 bucks i paid for it, but at least i got my rim. Thanks again!
