convertible top

Don't really know if this is the best place to post this, but well, whatever.

I need a new top for my convertible. I'm looking on www.topsonline.com (they seem to have really good prices) and was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what a "stayfast canvas" and "pinpoint vinyl" tops are? I mean, I'm pretty sure thirdgen verts came with cloth tops, right? So, if anyone knows what material this stuff is, that's be great, and which of the two is better/more durible.

Canvas=Waterproof cloth while Vinyl=cheap crap.

I actually got a canvas one for my 1988 from them with the glass window and it fit great. I tinted the back window and it is much nicer now.

You'd want the stayfast canvas. That's the "cloth" top you're talking about and generally lasts longer and I personally think looks better.

You definitely want the stayfast canvas. I've seen many vinyl tops that look like total crap. Remember to get a shop that knows what they are doing and can definitely do it right.

My present top is vinyl and looks like crap.

I cringe everytime I have to put the top up.

I want the canvas top and a glass rear window sounds dreamy.

Mr_Dude is in the middle of putting a rear window from a convertible LeBaron into his car.
It's still wired up for rear defrost.
