Someone help me verify plz.

According to sheet 6A located in this zip file ( http://members.fortunecity.com/r4_tech/ascsheets/6a.zip ) the tonneu cover for a 3rd gen is number 15, and LOOKS like GM part number 12508201.

Someone please tell me I'm right because GMPartsDirect lists it as:

GM PART # 12508201
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $94.10
OUR PRICE: $55.52
DESCRIPTION: MLDG KIT

Someone check me....I know it's too good to be true....Thirdgenresource is selling them for $275, but I just got LUCKY to find that ASC sheet with the GM part number on it.

If you have problems with the link, open the 6A zipfile and open page 6A

What part number does it look like to you?

WITHOUT SEEING THE LINK BUT owning a convertible Camaro, I STRONGLY SUSPECT this COULD be referring to the CLIPS used to hold down fabric to vehicle.
Isn't the rear tounneau cover for your convertible plastic? instead of Vinyl material?
The tounneau for my 67 convert is Vinyl stretched & held onto a chrome trim ring by series of plastic clips.
That's my guess. Unless ya get real lucky.

Nope, different setup. There's a swinging decklid with a piece of wood covered in vinyl glued on for appearance.

I called my parts guy and he says it lists that part no. as door molding for a Buick Roadmaster, so we're trying to find out the correct one

Part Numbers

I got the following numbers from an old GM Parts list:

Toneau Cover

1988 = 12394649
1989 - 1991 = 12395148
1992 = 12515063

Hope this helps!
