Molded rear quarters?
You guys all have verts so you guys will know what I'm talking about (bird guys especially). I HATE the spoiler endcaps. HATE them. They're flimsy and plasticy crap. How hard would it be to mold or weld some metal to the rear quarters (After pulling off the endcaps) and replacing the spoiler/endcaps with stiffer stuff...Hard to explain....

But in the molded version still having them angled slightly in...
EDIT: okay, there are supposed to be spaces next to those slashes...

A picture or even a crude drawing might help over ascii.
Are you talking about the long POS that covers the top of the cut off 1/4 panel? I'm sorta torn on mine, of modifying a quasi-rare, quasi-factory car to my liking, but those stupid plastic caps are annoying. I cant see why the rear 1/4 panel cant be molded to blend right into the trunk and tonneau all by itself. Dont know what I'd do for a spoiler, but the early flat Firebird spoiler without the ends cut off would probably look ok.
I know your 91 is different than my 89, but I agree that ASC could have made a cleaner design given the funding and time to do so.
