Convertible Frame Inter-Changability
Hell, I do not even know if that is a word!
What I want to know, from knowledgable sources, is whether a convertible top assembly (top, frame, latches, etc) from a 1990 Camaro will work on a 1992 Camaro..........with/or without modifications.
Thanks,
Steve

YES........IT DOES WORK!
I bought the top off a 1990 Camaro. It was the top assembly, frame, pads, cables, etc.......completely assembled and the top was only 4 months old (i have the original receipt). I bought the whole shebang from a guy in Buffalo for $425......
I removed my old top and installed the new one. Super easy, only 4 bolts, and a direct bolt in/drop in. Everything is the same where it counts. The 1992 top is a little more complex than the 1990, no springs, etc. But it works and it works nice.
Now I have a spare top assembly..............
