i have a top question

my top is still in danm good shape except for the p.o.s plastic in the back (cant see at all) do i have to get a new top altogether or can i shop jsut change out the plastic window for now? oh yeah + i got a big rip in it

dont leave your top down with weather under 45 farehiet it will most proably rip on the way backup

Here's just a temp. fix, or it could be permanent, but I think I'd rather have a sewn in one:

Other than that, I think the only other option is to have it taken off and have a new window sewn in or get a new top with the window already in it.

I had the same problem. Every where I went (all 2 places.... ) wanted @ 300 to replace the window BECAUSE they have to pull the top, sew in the new window and replace the top.

I opted to go ahead and buy a new top from TopsOnLine.com and replace the whole thing. I waited a few months longer until I had the mone to buy the whole top AND have it installed then ordered it.

He carries EZOntops and has one with a glass rear window so you don't have to fool with the mildewed rear plastic window again.

I had a new rear window sewn into my top. It ran slightly over $100, but factor in that it was around 8 yrs ago and the shop I use is very reasonably priced IMO. Just let you know that it can be done.
