Suspension Suggestions ?
ive decided to do only suspension mods to my 89 vert (ive got plenty of power in the other camaro) Anyway i thought i might seek some suggestions for a "stiff yet comfortable ride"
Here's what i was thinking so far:
-Sportlines (yea i know ill suffer a little on the comfort side for these
-Some Vert subframes (whos good ?)
-Poly Bushing for the entire underside of the car
Ill be needing some good shocks, but no over the top coilover kits what would compliment the sportlines?
What other suspension components could i pick up to make the car a little stiffer, and handle better but maybe soften the bumps a wee bit ?
Thanks Guys !
P.S. i forgot to mention that ill be rolling on some stock Z06 rims 17's and 18's (sorry i didnt know weather to put this in the vert section or the suspension)

I would say lose the sportlines and get the pro-kit (especially if you're planning on running 17" or 18" wheels). Bilstein shocks/struts would be my choice. There's a reason they cost as much as they do.
Get some LCA relocating brackets
Any aftermarket sfc is better than what's already there, but there are a couple schools of thought on which design is better. I have the Alston/TDS sfc's on my IROC- huge improvement, but I'm still working to make it a little stiffer.

One of the best things you can do that will make a huge difference is install a strut tower brace. You can get a decent one for 100-200 bucks, or you can make your own like I did. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=116737
The handling difference is tremendous. Best improvement per cost ratio, in my humble opinion!

If you want comfort, especially with 17s or 18s, I'd go with ditching the sportlines too. I had 16s with a prokit on my vert and they were really uncomfortable.
I'd suggest these too as extremely valuable:
Strut tower brace.
Wonder Bar.
Rebuild front end (when you lower the car any play with only be more apparant and harder to control)
SFCs, spohn with a mix of mac or alson, I run macs and am looking at spohns soon.
Amazingly because my strut mounts were shot I'd have to say getting new ones makes a huge difference as well.

Definetly replace anything thats wore out, ie. springs, struts, shocks and strut mounts first. I just went with moog for the strut mouts, lower control arm bushings and springs (IROC rates)
