Front Struts work [1989 Bird]

I'd like to know about the Strut tower braces and various pics. I haven't seen any recently that look any different from mine, except in dress appearence. As I upgrade some parts, my bolts on the front struts are reduced to rust lugs! They've gotten to very bad shape and may require something fancy to remove/replace
I can get shots of this as well.

STB

Bill Speed,

I don't have any photos under the hood to share. I have the Edlebrok STB for TBI cars. I think it is superior to the TPI STB because it is a three point brace instead of a two point brace.

Does your car have a wonderbar under the front end. The wonderbar is probably more important than the STB in limiting front end flex.

The gentleman from Albany speaks wisely.

Since my car has over 165K miles the suspension was really loose. After I added the Wonderbar, the difference was like night and day. I highly recommend TDS for this purchase FWIW.

Speedgraphic... ever eat any sausage from "Stripling's"? (may have misspelled that). It's not far from Blackshear, north of the brewery. MAN! I miss that butcher.

Cadilac!

Of course I've had Striplings Sausage. I was in there a few weeks ago and bought a bunch of Jerky.

How do you know about Striplings?

I do a lot of fishing/photography/riding on Lake Blackshear...

I've lived what seems like just about everywhere at this point and travelled the South extensively. My brother-in-law works for GA Power and was "stationed" in Albany for a spell. Every time we would visit or head south from Atlanta for Panama City Beach we would buy a styrofoam cooler and load up on hot and mild sausage as well as some hand cut, aged sirloin steaks. San Mateo is a long way from there now...

Best butcher ever.

The last time I was down there was right after they drained/dredged Blackshear. The fishing sucked. I'm sure it's improved/recovered at this point. Damn "no-see-ums".

Go Dawgs,

Caddy

I would like pics of these items, or alink to their respective spot perhaps. I'd love to get underbody shots of my car and pinpoint problem areas and mod areas. I can't think of a way for me to do it w/o a lift.

hehe
I had hit an object that interfered with my catalytic converters so they're slightly damaged. The rear axle/gas tank shield bolts are rusted and tough to tackle, where I opted my friend go in the trunk way to replace the fuel pump. In the end this makes replacement much easier then dropping tank and axle!
I put an engine shot in the Your Convertibles thread.
Mine hasn't any custom upgrades myself, outside of a mech makeshift convertible bow frame repair. A bolt broke under there. Also the rear stabilizer bar is not attached ahead of the rear axle...bolts must have loosened and fallen free. As I don't drive it much now, it hasn't been a problem, but on turns, you do notice the looseness
