Convertible FINALLY Out Of Storage...
Finally! Spring is officially here. Yesterday, I took my Camaro convertible out of storage. It had been stored since early last October, to avoid the ravages of a brutal Maine winter. Took the car cover off, hooked up the battery, and she fired up after the first turn of the key.
Brought her home the 10 miles with the top up, but later that afternoon went for a short ride with the kids and we had the top down. It is still cool here, but warmer weather is coming.
Yessir! I LOVE Spring!
Just had to share. Thanks for listening!

Wanna trade places? We're headed for 90's here. The sun is getting unbearable, I guess I'll need to start putting the top up and finally fix the A/C. Summer's here!

I Know What You Mean!
I lived in Denton, Texas prior to moving up here. I prefer the heat to the cold, but that is just me. I guess no matter who you are or where you are, the grass always seems greener on the other side!!
ENJOY THAT RAGTOP!!!!

We had a dash of 75 and 80s but back to average at 50s to 60s for the next coupla days
My top is now 'permanantly' down as I had to remove the decklid to stow it away. It presents new challenges but top-down motoring has been a new experience again, as with the trunk problem, my top was up for about 2 years!
I needed to address the marking left by the rubber seal on the tonneau as well as get some shots to prove my point... is not good... you do need a protector on there! hehe
Mine wasn't in storage, but it did have a bad fuel pump for some time and a current antifreeze leak, which I address with more water now the temps are up

I heard New Mexico is the best place for ANY consistant weather, and nice I might add. But Minnesota can be excellent, if the West coast settles down at all...too many West to East storms that DON'T stall out on the Rockies hehehe
