More qestions for lon !
Hey Lon,
First of thanks for all the help you give us vert guys, you are a most valuable resource... anyway on to buisness, three things
One, the passenger side latch for the tonneau does not latch, it moves freeley but does not lach down the cover, so the cover bars can just slide in and out...... any fixes for that ?
Two: I fixed my trunk pulldown unit (thanks for the help BTW) and wow to my surprise the hatch release now works, however when i push the button the tonneau cover does not pop up, i have to put one hand on the switch and one on the cover, push down on the cover and push the button simutaneuosly to get it to open, are there adjustments to fix this ?
Three: Do you or anybody have pictures of the rear tonneau locking mech, i see the latch and the cable that runs to a small welded bracket on the back of the cover, but nothing else, i know im prob missing some shuff there, i do have a "key" (a short metal piece with a circular opening at the end with some bolt holes and such looks like this haha -----o) Is this part of that locking mech ? Am i missing some bracket ?
WOW again thanks for all you help, and everybody else here on the vert board, you guys rock !

Try these 2 pages and see if that is what you need for the latch.

Also the passanger side of my cover wouldn't latch right either. I took off the inside rear panel and was able to gain access to the latch mechanism and was able to adjust it. There should just be a couple of bolt that you need to loosen and then you can adjust the position up or down to lock in place right. That fixed my problem with that side not latching and also enabled it to release without having to push down on the cover.

One here too...
I'd really like some ideas on where my switch might be, I've still no idea.
Even if it is missing, I'd like to have one made up. I'm going to look into several local places for some advice/estimates as well.
My pulldown unit is still not working...all the wiring appears good.
I am curious what glue Lon used, uses or will use to do his/any replacement top?
I corrected a coworker who asked if I was looking for glue to put on 'my' vinyl roof, to which I corrected him, it's Stayfast cloth! The good stuff
I think it's already mentioned a vinyl glue would work, but I'm wanting to get this choice right the first time around as I know all too well what poor glue does on the 'extreme' weather of MN
