Tonneau Latch Handle on Different Years

Did the tonneou latch handle that you slide to release the top different on different year Camaros or where they all the same from 87-92?
If they did change, anyone know the breakdown on the changes with the year(s) of the cars?

The simple answer is that there were some differences. If I remember right 1987s and early 1988s used rods. This was then switched to a cable. You will see pictures of rods on my 1988 in the above thread.
