New glass top fitment issues
Hello..this is my second top install on my car. I used the mylar window last time. Now I have the glass back top.
Everything is going ok but I cant get the rear most portion of canvas (the part that holds the glass between bows 4 and 5) to get taught due to the weight of the glass.
I've already pulled the cables through the sides and secured the top to bows 2 and 3 via those metal rods. I also have glued the top to bow 5 (the rearmost one).
I havent secured the front though. I have pulled the canvas as tight as I can, now restricted to where its fastned to bows 2 and 3.
Can any adjustments be made on bow #4 (can its height be increased at all)?
Or I guess I could pull bow #5 rearward?

ok...I figured it out.
Magically, once i got the front measured and glued down and the trim plate screwed in, everything turned out ok.
My new top looks fantastic. Even with new mylar I could nt see as well as i can now thru thwe back.
Very sleek. These cars look great with smaller glass rear windows!
