yellow faded window

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to remove the yellow faded crap on the back window? It's the plastic window. I hate to replace the top, bacause other than the window its in decent shape.

I don't care what they say, but faded windows cannot be salvaged or cleared. The good news is, you can get a new window sewed in without replacing the whole top.

you can use scratch-x or swirl remover, but it will only help to a certain extent. you still will have problems looking thru it...and yes you can get a new window stitched in, but labor will cost about the same for that as just getting a whole new top installed...

that's why i'm getting a new top put on, and this time it's a glass window.

I've tried everything to get rid of this problem. The best thing was the plastic polish but BZ says it right: There is not much you can do.

I priced getting a new window sewn in and it was like 50 bucks than getting a new top so also like BZ, I'll be getting a new top (possibly with glass) in the Spring.
