Fenders

i know i should be posting this is the wanted section,but does anyone have convertible front fenders for a camaro. i dont want to cut up some coupe fenders and modify them to fit my car. thanks,bryan

i thought convertibles were originally t top cars so shouldn't the fenders be the same on all of our cars?

Do a search, they are originaly the same fenders but are modified to fit the ASC frame rails.

Coupe fenders fit just fine.
The only difference is the mounting bracket.

My 91 has a coupe fender on it and the only thing changed was the mounting bracket near the door.

It's the only thing that changed to my knowledge.
Due to the added support to the frame.
As long as you have the bracket to your original fender... they only have to weld that part to the coupe fender for a fit.
Depending on the dameage of course....

You also have to cut off the coupe mounting bracket as well, which is basically the lower part of the fender. It's not as simple as welding the bracket on.

i changed mine. had to cut off about 5" from the bottom of the fenders and reuse the brackets from my old fenders, pain in the *** but worked just fine.

i have 2 new fenders for sale. not gm tho. 100 for both
