I'm working on disassembling my 89 Vert and kinda came to a head scratcher. Remember I'm a computer tech and not very mechinacal. What I want to find out is how to remove the 2 hinges that fold down when you fold down the tonneau boot cover. I took the tonneau cover off but they will not fold down and have a ton of tension to them. Do I just remove the bolts holding the brackets on or will that thing swing out and smack me? Also I'm having difficulty getting the front face off are there any suggestions?
