Yep, it sure is! But this one has the all too common LG4/auto drivetrain for these Z28s. It does have leather which is a plus though. So far, only TWO known with the TPI/5-speed. Remember, zero LG4/5-speed and zero TPI/autos in '87 Z28 convertibles.

despite the fact that its rare it doesnt seem to get any decent bids
probably because most people interested in iroc's and TPI engines
but i think in the future any z28 or iroc convetible will be worth alot
of cash because collectible cars must be rare and beautiful
and i cant think of any car thats more sexy than and iroc-z28 convertible

For a northern car, that's not even close to "lots of rust". Around here, we call that "solid".

Wow. Glad I'm south of the Mason Dixon then!
I can believe it, though. I lived in Pittsburgh for a year and my 87 Suburban got EATEN ALIVE by road salt.

Around here, if you still can't see through the panels after you sand blast, you got yourself an outstanding vehicle well worth whatever price you paid.
If you get a car that just needs a couple replacement panels, you got a "solid" car.
If you get a car that's still got enough metal left to weld new panels to, you at least got one that's fixable.

In that case, anybody up north want to buy an '86 T/A that ... in your rusty northern opinion ... is a show car?
'Round here it looks a little rusty, and that's only because the metal round the back glass has some surface rust and it has some bondo in some panels. But undercarriage and anything important is 100% rust-free!
