heres a shot of my 1984 Matrix 'vert --- diamond in the rough.....anyone recognize the striping as original GM or a Matrix design ????

 

I think this is the first early vert (83,84) I've seen that wasn't a Z28 or berlinetta.

 

the story I've heard is that the local Chevy dealer sent 2 Camaros to California to be converted.....why they chose std Camaros is beyond me...maybe they didnt think they would sell well if the cars were priced too high....who knows......I do know those funky stripes gotta go.......
