Now that the driver side has been repaired I just might do that! You'll have to keep me updated on what shows are going on because I have to request time off well in advance.

I would have to vote my T/A vert as the Ugliest, AT THIS TIME!!!! Why you ask. Well for starts the main body is red, No ground effect on the driver rocket cause the door slag was so bad that it rub it into 2 pieces. No rear center spoiler section, lost that racing a pony last summer at 90 mph. I’m swapping the plain fender out with the vented T/A fenders which are white at this time. Hood is a Ram Air style 2 that is black. Passenger side door has a nice dent it for a pick-up truck, and the previous owner hit the passenger quarter panel lip on pole. Both the top and interior is tan at least the previous owner did do some thing to the car. He had the seats, and top redone. But at least my vert is on the road unlike some vert car I know.

zimmstoy after seeing your car, my mind has definitely changed about switching colors on my new RS vert I purchased. The 92 RS vert I bought is purple as well(needs paint badly), but I could hardly stand the thought of repainting it Purple. But now, your car looks great that color. This would save me some cash and work as well.

I like them without the rear seats and just a custom molding to fill in the space (looks best with some huge subs in it's place). But I don't really like the custom tonneu covers that go over the back area and actually make it look like a roadster.

I totally afree with ya there. I just don't like the speedster top you seen on them.

I dono if Id want the subs showin like that thou.. its to easy for someone to slash a top on our verts. but you are right a nice box with amps/subs would be cool.

kinda like Tommys (Mr.Iroc-Z)

I know of one that is for $3,500-ish. I was going to trade up the G92 IROC for this one plus cash on his end. He was all for it until he re-read my PM and noticed I wanted cash from him, not me give him cash plus the '90.

Anyways, it's a black '91 Z28 vert with chrome C5 Z06's, 4th gen grey leather interior, and a 4th gen 10 bolt with 3.73's. I'll give you the guy's contact info if you'd like.

Nice verts guys! I'm sad to say but this used to be my 89 IROC-Z back around 10 years ago or so. I ended up trading it in after my boss at work backed up into the drivers side door and really messed things up. It wasn't the same after it got fixed and repainted etc... So I went from this...

to an 92 RS..to an 87 Vette.

I'm hoping to get my hands on another 89 IROC-Z and park her next to the Vette within a year from now after we move down to GA.

Although mine is a trans-am, it's definately a nice feeling...

Finally had a chance to get mine out with the top down yesterday...

Not the best one here, but I'm really happy with it.!!

After looking at some with that roadster tonnaue, they seemed a littke funny lookin. I have taken the back seats out and the speaker pannels. Ive started getting estimates on fiberglassing the whole back with 3 12'' subs. And Im goin to use the truck for the amps! Ive got it going to the shop an May. ill post new pics when its done!!

Here is my old girl. Not the best one on the board, but I do like her. I am also partial to John's Jamaican Yellow 92. That thing is sweet.

And I thought I had the only purple haze vert with tan interior. Nice looking car. Is your interior leather or cloth?

Mine is here: http://www.scottzimmerman.net/images...Z28/92Z28.html

Re: Whos got the best vert.

84 Z28 Camaro 2 Seater Autoform Roadster. 5 speed manual transmission(with 5.0L 305). American Racing rims. Tan leather interior. New black carpet and new headliner. New canvas top over hardtop. I think I've driven this car twice with the top up(I think any convertible looks better with the top down!!). Sits in the garage on bad weather days. Car had the black spider TA rims when I bought it. I think the car looks better with the new polished aluminum 15 inch rims(I think these cars originally came with 15 inch wheels??).

Personally I used to not like those ground effects, for the first time in my recolection they look kick butt on your car... I would actually consider doing that to a car I owned....

Thanks John. Appreciate the kind words. What can you tell me about adding the ground effects to a car? I'm asking because I have doubted that I would ever be able to get replacement parts for this car if I ever wrecked it(like got t-boned in a door etc.)

I was thinking the same thing. I'm typically not a big fan of that type of ground effects, but it looks pretty cool on your ride.

Thanks...I have been searching for many months trying to find another Autoform owner who has the same ground effects and so far, I have not found one. I am assuming the ground effects were an option that was ordered when the car was purchased. Also, my trunk lid was eliminated by the guy who did body work and painted the car last. I like my car without the trunk lid because I think it gives a cleaner line to the deck.

I might be way off, but for some reason the name "Prowler" comes to mind, I am not 100% on the name though...

Mine is here: http://www.scottzimmerman.net/images...Z28/92Z28.html

Thanks,

That would look absolutely perfect if it had a tan top on it.
