Headliner or early ASC verts
I was wondering what was involved in putting a headliner into my 89. I was told that the 90-92's had the headliner and I think it would be nice to have it...
Has anyone put a headliner into an 88 or 89?

I am not sure when, but in 1988 or 1989 they added some sort of extra "flip" bar, I am not sure if this would be necessary for the headliner.
My 95 had it and I liked it a lot because it really helped with noise and it looked nicer than seeing the bars...

I just did a search, may have come up with the same post you read... maybe not.

Anyway, if the newer top frame is that much different than 89, that might just be the reason you wouldnt be able to retrofit it.
