Hello....I have a 1990 IROC Z car, convertible, that is in dire need of the hardware that attaches the convertible top to the frame of the car. The guide pins that fit into the window frame are gone, so my top is constantly popping off the front hinges. I have had it in a local convertible top shop for a while now, but they tell me that the company that made this top does not make parts for it anymore....and that they are having problems finding the parts.

Does anyone know where I can get the parts I need...basically the 2 hinges that are located on the convertible itself (pic 2), and the part that is on the front window frame, that the hinges attach to (the bottom guide pins are worn, and would be good to replace those if possible.).

What exactly are you looking for? your saying "Hinges" but you show pictures of the latches.

on a side note, my cousin wrote the code for one of the 4 parts of the original "Tron" arcade game...

Thanks for the reply.....I guess I am not using the proper terminology here...sorry, just not sure what things are called, hince the pics. I need the 2 latches for the convertible top...they actually attach to the the convertible part. I also would like to find the part that attaches to the front window frame, that the latches attach to....the metal "nub" that the latch attaches to are worn....so would like to replace.

A place in Fla just emailed me, may have a lead on the latches....but please forward any info or contacts....

Thanks for the name.....I found the latches yesterday via a place called hydro-electric.... Home - Hydro-E-Lectric ... so put those on order. I now need the part on front window frame...and noticed that the plastic piece between the 2 window frame pieces is split and also requires replacement....what a pain in the rear...

I have the same issue with the guide pins for the latches. Does anyone have a solution for this? Is the pin an actual separate part or is it cast in with the larger metal piece? Can't drive the thing if it's even going to think about raining until I get this fixed.
