when should i start looking for a vert?
well the money i have been saving is growing and am wondering what time of year should i start looking for a vert? I want a 1990 or newer camaro prob a stick 5.7. what is to much to pay fo rone of these cars?
did u say a manual transmission + 5.7L? im sure u know that doesnt exist, and verts only came with the 5.0L. the winter can be a bad time to shop for a convertible because some people dont even attempt to sell them during the winter, BUT it can also be a good time because the value of a convertible will go down during the winter...seeing as u live in Ohio that should hold true
good luck with the search though, we all want to see u with a 3rd gen again

NOW is the best time.... if you can find em.
when fall starts getting cold.. people realize the heat doesnt work, the top has a problem, they dont want to drive it in the snow, ect... and there are less people looking to buy one.
nows the time to get the best price...
later in the mid-spring to early summer, is the worse time to buy one. thats when more people are looking.. so demand is higher.. and you cant work the price as low when the guy has 5 people calling that day... lol

You can find a vert with a 350, they were a factory 350, but not a "factory" vert. You can also find a 5 speed, all of those would be a 305.
I own a real Formula 350 and its a convertible to boot (1 of 42)... so they do exist. There is a real GTA 350 which is also a convertible for sale, there were several of those made, around 139...
Good luck, and yes now is the time for purchasing summer cars, not trucks, when spring comes, then will be the time to buy a truck and not a convertible.
