I finished my guages, converted ttop pillar to fit my vert.
I took someone's idea from here to take an AutoMeter ttop pillar and cut the top off of it to fit a convertible, to give it more of a stock-ish look. I didn't really want to have those snap pins all over the place and have a small guage pod on top of my stock a-pillar.
So here it is, with all of the wires ran except for the sending units, so they light up but don't function just yet. I've got trans temp and air/fuel. I went with the Phantom series, and the trans temp came with a green and a red bulb cover, but I opted to replace the bulb as a whole with a blue bulb to kind of match the rest of the theme with the dash.
I bought the white faced guages in the dash on ebay for $12. They really do look good in there, especially when you color the needles red with a Sharpie like I did. The installation is extremely simple. There's only 2 wires you have to run, so it takes hardly any time at all.
I also added a nice set of Infinity 4x6's up in the dash since the front speakers were the only stock part of my sound system. They really sound great, I was suprised at how much lower range you can get out of such a small speaker. I only paid $104 for them at Best Buy too.

I'll probably just hide the switch in the fuse box, since I won't even need to turn the blue and red lights off. The switch is just for if you get tired of seeing blue and red, which I love them.

Look great! Are those the guages that glow on ebay? Saw Scott driving the IROC the other day BTW. Looks like he's learning quick.

I'm glad that Scott is enjoying the car, although I really miss it a lot...my left foot gets so lonely.
