I'M BACK!!!

Hi All!!

Well, Here is the low-down.

Owned my first Camaro 6 years ago. She was a 1985 Irock w/ T-tops. Ran her for a year or so before she expired beyond my repair and budget.

Second camaro was a '91 Teal Convertible. The love of my life :-P . She had all new suspension, SFC, exhuast, headers, shift kit, and general mods. She was perfect untill some JERK cut across the highway (through the grass median) and smashed into me. Tottaled my car, and now i'm half blind in my right eye. (lost the pictures apparently)

I then used my settlement money (which wasn't much cuz they guy was an illegal mexican) to buy a 1986 convertible. I'll let the pictures speak for me.

BUT, then one mistake in parts cost me everything. MrGasket fuel pressure regulator decided to start spewing fuel.

R.I.P.

....so, it's been over a year since the fire. And although i wasn't sure this is what i should do again, but it looks like i'm going back to a 1991 Convertible Camaro. She's RS, 5-speed manual. No mods (beside transam seats). Usual cosmetic issues, and the top needs re-glued, and the Gas Gauge, and Tach are not working. But, nothing i can't fix i think.

So, for anyone who remember Serpentine. I'm Back Baby!!! Bwa ha ha ha

Re: I'M BACK!!!

Looks like a nice car... I remember your Yellow car of flames... very sad I like yellow, it was a beautiful car.

The Gas & Tach problem may be related, I would suspect a loose screw, or a ground issue inside the cluster. Thats where I would start.

Of course they may be unrelated altogether, I would start with checking the wires from the cluster to the tank (you can get to the plug usually under the back seat) and the wire from the Distributor to the Tach...

Good luck

John

Re: I'M BACK!!!

For the Gas tank, it looks like it's supposed to be from 0-90ohms right? is that while the car is running? or do i unplug it and meter the resistance?
