Re: fuel filter?
I was trying to get that fuel filter today but I was unable to get it loose. I was afraid to break the fuel line. I was trying to unscrew the the nut away from the filter, but nothing. I'm doing something wrong? Is there a trick to do this? Thanks in advance, Orville

Re: fuel filter?
PB blaster is your friend. Your car is about 16y.o so some rust is going to happen. Worst comes to worst, you might have to replace the fuel line. If you do, coat it in POR-15 or similar at the ends. If you have to replace the line, I pray for your mental health that the underside of your car isn't completely rusted out. I had to replace a brake line on my formula (which is the rust mobile. The carpet is keeping my feet from the pavement at 60mph) To be honest, I would much rather light myself on fire and jump in a pool of solidified gelatin than replace the brake line on that car again.
If you can't coat in por-15 when you get it off (which normally you wont be able to if it's still on the car, due to surface prep issues) then you can surround both ends with aquarium sealant. It will hold up on the road, but can be peeled off when you need to change the filter again.
