Hi all,

I have a 89 Iroc Vert. The tonneau switch has been working fine, but now is doing nothing. My top is stuck in the down position and it is really hot today. Does anyone have any advice on how to manually open the tonneau?

there are manual release cables behind the rear seats, fold down the seats and look in the lower corner for a thin black cable and pull.

 

Man o man....I have torn that thing apart and can not find those cables. Could they be located in any other spot? Do I need to take out a rear kick panel?

 

well if U take off the side panels you will have access to the latches, and maybe eiser finding the cable if its not pulled out where it is suppose to be.

the cable should hook up to the latch, then route behind the side panel, out the back lower portion and end up behind the lower part of the seat.

Maybe its hidden under the carpet or something back there
